Gillingham have extended the loan stay of goalkeeper AS Romain Larrieu for their next two games.
The French goalkeeper's initial two-month loan stay at the Priestfield expired after Monday's 1-0 victory over Bristol City.
Larrieu was expected to return to Home Park to have surgery on a snapped tendon in his finger but Pilgrims boss Ian Holloway has sanctioned his extended stay until April 21.
"Plymouth know about our predicament and it's nice of them to help us out, especially as I think they want him to play a few games for them before the end of the season," Gills boss Ronnie Jepson told the club's official website.
Larrieu has made 13 appearances for the Gills in the absence of regular number one Kelvin Jack.
