Gillingham defender Brent Sancho is facing an eight-week lay-off after picking up a knee injury.
The Trinidad & Tobago international sprained his knee during the first half of the Gills' 2-1 win at Doncaster last weekend.
Sancho has since told the Trinidad & Tobago Football Federation: "It's disappointing to say the least because it also puts me out of the two international friendlies back home next month.
"We were doing quite well in the first half and I felt I had been doing pretty good in the previous matches so this is a blow.
"When it happened I didn't feel it much because I was able to walk it out but then at half-time I got the feeling that it had a strain.
"Hopefully, the club will continue to get decent results and I will be back before Christmas to help them during that period."
