Julian hands in transfer request
Julian, who joined the Gills on a free transfer from Stevenage in July 2008 as cover for Simon Royce, was made first-choice stopper at the start of the season.[LNB]However, he lost his place to Royce following the home defeat to Hartlepool in August and now seems certain to leave.[LNB]A statement from Gillingham said: "After discussions, chairman Paul Scally and manager Mark Stimson have accepted Alan's request and his name has been circulated to Football League clubs."[LNB][LNB]
