Gillingham manager Ronnie Jepson was quick to praise Bromley after watching his side reach the second round of the FA Cup with a 4-1 win against the Ryman Isthmian League side.
Bromley are currently top of their table after enjoying an 11-match unbeaten start to the campaign and Jepson can see why they are doing so well.
"We got the result that we wanted but, first and foremost, we need to give full credit to Bromley," he said.
"They came here today and had a real go, and their manager and fans can be proud of them and their performance.
"It was there for an upset as the pitch was bobbly and it was quite windy. I have to give credit to my players too as they stuck to the task.
"We knew that if we could get the ball down in the second half and stick at it, as it was a bit hectic in the first half, we'd create chances, and we did."
