A lifeless first half lacking in quality was summed up after 43 minutes when Chris Dickson pulled the ball back from the byline for fellow striker Rene Howe to balloon the ball over from six yards.[LNB]Gills boss Mark Stimson made a double change in an attempt to break the deadlock, throwing on Jackson and Andy Barcham.[LNB]The move gave the home side a new lease of life and they nearly opened the scoring after 63 minutes when Danny Jackman's 20-yard free-kick landed narrowly wide.[LNB]Rovers offered little throughout, although they could have opened the scoring when substitute Elliot Richard broke clear, only to be denied by Darren Dennehy.[LNB]The hosts grabbed three vital points in the last minute, though, with Jackson popping up to drill Adam Miller's pass into the bottom corner.[LNB][LNB][LNB]
