I'm getting my head down - Jackson
The 22-year-old scored 21 goals last season to help the Gills to promotion and was linked with a move to Leicester earlier this summer.
Asked if he worries about such speculation, he said: "No, not really. You get caught up in that if you do, I just get my head down and start thinking about the start of the season.
"This has been my best year so far but the most important thing now is to not get caught up in all that and get my head down and concentrate on what happens this season.
"I do have a little goal target in mind but I keep that to myself, I just get my head down and try and get as many goals as a I can when the opportunity is there."
