Hess weighs up options

Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler will be forced to make at least three changes to his starting line-up for the trip to Macclesfield. Loanee Callum Kennedy played his last game for the Gills in the 2-1 win against Barnet last time out, and has returned to parent club Swindon, while Chris Palmer suffered a knee injury in training attempting to block a shot. The injury is not serious but is enough to put the goalscoring midfielder on the sidelines for up to 10 days. Tony Sinclair is suspended after being booked for the fifth time this season, but Andy Barcham, Simon King and Dennis Oli will return to the squad after injury, despite having not yet played any reserve-team football due to the weather conditions.
