Gills swoop for quartet
20 Jun 2007 - 11:59:50
Gillingham manager Ronnie Jepson has wasted little time strengthening his squad after Matt Jarvis' move to Wolves was confirmed by bringing four new players to the Priestfield Stadium.
Delroy Facey moves to the Gills on a free transfer from Rotherham United.
The much-travelled 27-year-old striker has also played for Huddersfield Town, Bolton Wanderers, West Brom, Hull City, Oldham Athletic and Tranmere Rovers.
Craig Armstrong joins the club on a free transfer from Cheltenham Town after the 32-year-old midfielder had spent the last two seasons at Whaddon Road.
He played for Nottingham Forest, Huddersfield Town, Sheffield Wednesday and Bradford City earlier in his career.
Jepson has also snapped up Barnet midfielder Barry Cogan and former Swindon Town midfielder Aaron Brown.
