Gills opt to keep Jarrett

Albert Jarrett has been rewarded for his fine form in the opening three months of the season by being offered a contract by Gillingham that will see him stay at the Priestfield Stadium until the end of this season.

The former Wimbledon, Watford and Brighton winger had been on a month-to-month contract since being offered a trial by the club in the summer.

The 24-year-old has started five games for Mark Stimson's side so far this term and made five more appearances from the substitute's bench.

Meanwhile, midfielder Rory Hill has joined Blue Square Premier League side Salisbury City on a month's loan.
