Gillingham manager Mark Stimson has continued to revitalise the squad he inherited from Ronnie Jepson by snapping up Reading's teenage defender Adam Bygrave on loan.
The 18-year-old central defender moves to Priestfield on an initial month's loan and is a player that has impressed Stimson.
The former Grays Athletic and Stevenage Borough manager told the Gills' official website: "Adam's a player I rate highly.
"I've watched him a number of times for Reading's reserve team and I think he'll do a good job for us.
"He has all the qualities you need and I thank Steve Coppell for allowing him to come here and play games."
