Gillingham completed a hat-trick of loan deadline day signings after adding Stevenage Borough duo John Nutter and Adam Miller to their growing ranks.

Gills boss Mark Stimson had already landed Grays Athletic midfielder Stuart Thurgood on a month's loan before returning to another of his former clubs to sign the pair on a similar basis.

Full-back Nutter and midfielder Miller are expected to join the League One club on a permanent basis when the transfer window reopens in January.

"It's difficult to put into words how it feels," Nutter told the club's official website.

"I've worked hard in non-league over the past four to five years and to finally get my chance is a fantastic feeling.

"I'm now looking forward to getting on the pitch and showing the gaffer and the fans what I can do."
