Gillingham signed Nottingham Forest midfielder Felix Bastians in a last-gasp move on Thursday's loan deadline day.

The Germany Under-18 international is a product of Forest's youth academy and has made a handful of first-team appearances at the City Ground since earning a first professional contract 18 months ago.

Bastians had been on loan at Conference side Halifax Town before the Gills made an approach to sign him for the remainder of the season.

The teenager also spent two months on loan at Northwich Victoria earlier in the campaign.
