Gills duo close to exit

Gillingham boss Mark Stimson expects both Aaron Brown and Efe Sodje to have moved to pastures new by the end of the week.

Stimson made the duo available for transfer or loan deals earlier this month following the club's relegation to League Two.

The former Grays Athletic and Stevenage Borough manager said: "Aaron doesn't want to play for me. It's not a problem and at least he's been honest.

"He's trying to sort something out with the chairman.

"At the end of the week I might have some news on both of them. I don't think we're a million miles away."
