Gills deal tempts Armstrong

Cheltenham Town utility man Craig Armstrong has revealed that a two-year contract offer from Gillingham was too good for him to turn down.
The 32-year-old left-sided player was also offered a two-year deal to remain at Whaddon Road, but has opted to up sticks and head to Kent.
He told the Western Daily Press: "I am at the latter end of my career and at my age I could not turn this sort of offer down.
"They are paying me some relocation and travelling expenses and the wage is higher as well.
"I will be leaving a lot of friends, but I had to think of my personal circumstances."
Armstrong had been with Town for two seasons and once enjoyed a loan stint with the Gills way back in 1996 while on the books of Nottingham Forest.
