Gills youngsters offered deals
Gillingham have offered professional contracts to five of their youth players.
Goalkeeper Daren Hawkes, defenders Jack Evans and Callum Davies, plus midfielders Alex Brown and Tom Brunt are all second-year youth-team scholars.
Gills boss Andy Hessenthaler told the club's official website: "This is a really strong group of players, there are good ones in the year below, and the year below them are even stronger.
"I am a manager what likes to bring through youngsters, that's what we did with Matt Jarvis and Andrew Crofts. If they are good enough they will get their chance."
