Gills waiting on skipper
Gillingham manager Andy Hessenthaler may have to rejig his starting line-up for Saturday`s visit to Stockport.
Hessenthaler is sweating on the fitness of captain Barry Fuller after he pulled up with a groin injury in the warm-up before Monday`s defeat at Wycombe.
That defeat ended a five-match winning streak and Hessenthaler will be hoping Fuller is passed fit as he is his only recognised right-back.
If Fuller is absent, Matt Lawrence could slot into the full-back slot with Simon King earning a recall at centre-half.
Hessenthaler will also check on the fitness of Joe Martin, who picked up a hamstring problem at Wycombe and was forced off before the interval.
Dennis Oli (ankle), Chris Palmer (knee) and Tony Sinclair (foot) also remain doubtful.
