Gills wait on Weston and Payne

Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler has two injury concerns for the visit of Morecambe. Midfielder Curtis Weston picked up a knock early in the second half of last Saturday's 4-0 romp at Lincoln and he will be assessed before kick-off. If he does not make it, Jack Payne, who replaced him at Sincil Bank, could be in line for a start. Hessenthaler also has a worry over Stefan Payne after the striker sustained an injury in a midweek friendly against Canterbury City. There are no other injury or suspension problems for the Gills as they aim to consolidate their play-off position, where they currently occupy seventh position, having gone 15 games without defeat.
