Gills v Rovers clash postponed
Local official Ian Cooper inspected the Priestfield Stadium pitch and surrounding area at 12pm on Thursday and decided to postpone the fixture.[LNB]A statement from the Gills said: "Despite the best efforts of head groundsman John Plummer and his volunteers, the streets surrounding the ground are very dangerous and present a major risk for supporters.[LNB]"Further snow is expected overnight so a decision has been taken early to avoid the Tranmere team having to travel."[LNB]No new date has been set for the rearranged fixture.[LNB][LNB]
