Gills to face Shrimpers
Gillingham have been drawn at Southend in the first round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Southern Section (East)
The Gills were beaten 1-0 in the second round last season by Norwich, with Cody McDonald, now with the Kent club, scoring the second-half winner at the Priesfield Stadium.
The tie will be played in the week commencing August 30.
