Gills make double loan swoop
Gillingham have completed the double loan signings of Peterborough duo Chris Whelpdale and Charlie Lee on one-month deals.
Midfielder Whelpdale, 23, has made over 125 appearances for Posh, scoring 12 goals in all competitions since signing for Darren Ferguson in 2007.
He joins team-mate Lee at the Priestfield Stadium and will go straight into the squad to face Crewe on Saturday.
Utility man Lee, also 23, can play in a variety of positions across the back four and midfield and, despite being a pivotal performer for Posh over the last few years, has struggled to make the required impact this season.
