Gills land Inkango

Gillingham have announced the signing of Bruce Inkango on a short-term deal. The French winger will be at Priestfield until December after impressing boss Andy Hessenthaler while on trial at the club. Inkango has made a huge impact on the Gillingham reserve team after creating two goals in the 3-0 home defeat to Brentford and then scoring in last week's 3-2 defeat to Leyton Orient. Speaking on his capture to the Gills` official website, Hessenthaler was full of praise for his new signing. "Like Andy Barcham, he is an out and out winger and gives us something different to what we already have. He's got pace, he will get at people, and cause problems, and he can turn a game with his pace and trickery." Inkango, whose last club was French side Red Star 93, is waiting for international clearance but could make his debut against Burton on Saturday.
