Gills hit by Sinclair blow

Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler's hopes of naming the same starting XI in successive games for the first time this season may have been scuppered by an injury to Tony Sinclair. Defender Sinclair replaced Josh Gowling for last week`s 2-0 victory over promotion hopefuls Shrewsbury and Hessenthaler had planned to stick with a winning formula, but Sinclair is now doubtful for the trip to Bradford after sustaining a knock in training. The 25-year-old will be given as much time as possible to recover but Gowling is ready to return to the side if needed. Elsewhere, Andy Barcham, Garry Richards and Simon King will be absent but Dennis Oli will be pushing for a place on the bench after impressing for the reserves since his comeback from a hamstring injury.
