Gills could have Gowling back

Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler could have Josh Gowling available for the trip to promotion hopefuls Shrewsbury. The 27-year-old centre-back has missed the last four games with an ankle injury but comes back into contention. Winger Andy Barcham, who made his comeback from an ankle injury of his own last weekend as a 67th-minute substitute against Bury, has not trained all week but will be named in the squad. Midfielder Mark Bentley will also be named in the squad despite asking for his name to be circulated around the Football League for a possible loan move. Simon King will again miss out with an ongoing ankle problem that has limited his time on the pitch over the last two years.
