Gills boss: Promotion is back on
Dennis Oli's late header ended a four-match winless run for the Gills and means they can assure themselves of a play-off spot next weekend - and are just three points behind third-placed Wycombe with three games left.
And Stimson said: "It is back on, and if it is on we have to go for it. We know we have got three difficult games but this has been a good three points and it is something to build on.
"We knew before the game it was going to be tight. Dagenham were really looking forward to this game. It was a chance for them to come to a good stadium and play.
"We had to make sure we were going to match them on effort, and then I was sure our quality would come through.
"The atmosphere was great. I think the fans started it and the players then took it on as well. When this place does make some noise, it is a great atmosphere."
