Gillingham duo Sean Clohessy and Andrew Crofts are to be released by the club at the end of the season.

Gills boss Mark Stimson has confirmed that defender Clohessy and midfielder Crofts - who have both been on loan at Blue Sq Premier sides this season - will not be offered new deals when their current contracts expires.

"Sean Clohessy's agent has made contact with me and we've said we won't be renewing his contract and he's probably going to get himself tied up," he confirmed.

"I haven't heard from Andrew Crofts or his advisors but I think the chairman has sorted something out. I think there is a deal being done."
