Gillingham sign midfielder Palmer

Gillingham have completed a deal for Walsall midfielder Chris Palmer. The 25-year-old joins Gillingham on a free transfer after turning down an offer to stay with Walsall and has signed a two-year contract. Palmer is a versatile player, able to play on the left or right of midfield and has also been used at full-back.
