Ian Thomas-Moore's struck to give Tranmere a timely victory against fellow-strugglers Gillingham.Luke Rooney had a chance in either half to put the hosts in front but headed wastefully over and then fired Andy Barcham's centre against the crossbar. Veteran striker Thomas-Moore broke the deadlock when he slid the ball in at the back-post after Gareth Edds' cross had caused disarray in the Gills box.
