All frills for Gills

Gillingham again have a fully-fit squad as they welcome York to Priestfield looking to get their promotion charge back on track.

The Gills saw last weekend's trip to Rochdale fall victim to the wintry weather, meaning they are yet to take to the pitch since losing their top of the table clash against Port Vale.

Manager Martin Allen has had plenty of time to reflect on that defeat and the likes of Charlie Lee, Charlie Allen and Steven Gregory could well be promoted from the bench.

Coventry striker Cody McDonald is training with the Kent club with a view to a loan move but that has not yet been completed and, as it stands, he is unavailable for the encounter.

York's new teenage signing Jack O'Connell is in contention.

O'Connell completed a one-month loan move from Blackburn this week and will step in for David McGurk, who has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury.

The Minstermen have also signed teenage defender Jameel Ible from Salford City and he will travel with the squad, but is not expected to be involved.

Striker Ben Everson, signed last week, is expected to start on the bench again and Alex Rodman will return to contention after missing out last week against his parent club Aldershot.

Striker Oli Johnson could also come into the reckoning after a series of niggling injuries have kept him sidelined since mid-November.

Manager Gary Mills has no new injury or suspension problems, but will still be without defender Chris Doig (ankle) and striker Ashley Chambers, who is recovering from surgery to resolve a stomach/groin problem.

Another forward, Michael Coulson, is continuing his rehabilitation following knee ligament damage.
