Luke Norris should be fit for Gillingham

Luke Norris is expected to be fit for Gillingham when they host Swindon in Sky Bet League One.

The striker was forced from the pitch in last weekend's defeat to Blackpool after suffering a foot injury but received the all-clear following scans on Monday.

Rory Donnelly made his return from a back problem in place of Norris and the 10-goal striker could win his starting spot back.

Dominic Samuel is expected to keep his place after extending his loan from Reading, while the club received good news as Cody McDonald (broken foot) looks set to return to action before the end of the season.

Swindon manager Luke Williams is hoping to have defensive pair Jordan Turnbull and Raphael Rossi Branco back in his squad.

Turnbull failed a late fitness test on a hamstring injury ahead of Tuesday night's 1-0 defeat at Port Vale, while Branco was ruled out against the Valiants by a groin problem.

Leading scorer Nicky Ajose also missed that defeat at Vale with a concussion suffered in the weekend loss to Barnsley and will be monitored closely.

Teenage striker Jordan Young impressed when making his first-team debut off the bench on Tuesday and the 16-year-old could be involved again.
