Weston set for Gills comeback Gillingham will be boosted by the return of Myles Weston for the visit of Rochdale. The striker missed last week's 2-0 win at Port Vale due to a back injury but has returned to training in time for the Dale clash. Charlie Lee is making good progress with his leg complaint but is not quite ready while fellow midfielder Jack Payne (groin) is taking part in an extra week's worth of training to up his fitness levels. Midfielder Bradley Dack, meanwhile, serves the second game of his three-match suspension for the red card received against Southend. Striker Adam Birchall has this week moved to non-league Dartford on a one-month loan deal and will therefore not be available as the Gills look to continue their superb start to the season. Kevin McIntyre will be absent for Rochdale following an unsuccessful red card appeal. The veteran midfielder was dismissed when Dale were 2-0 ahead at home to Dagenham and watched from afar as they were pegged back to 2-2. He will serve a one-match ban for committing a professional foul having failed to get the decision overturned. Skipper Peter Cavanagh was not risked in the Daggers clash after aggravating a calf injury but he may be handed a place on the bench this time out. Luke Watson (knee), Reece Gray (broken leg) and Matt Edwards (wrist) remain on the sidelines. John Coleman's men sit 10th in the table but are within striking distance of the play-off places.
