Bradley Dack set to miss Gillingham's clash with Bury

Gillingham will be without midfielder Bradley Dack for their Sky Bet League One clash with Bury.

Dack limped off with a suspected knee problem during the midweek EFL Cup win at Southend and is expected to be out for a couple of weeks, while defender Max Ehmer will also be monitored having suffered a concussion.

On-loan QPR forward Jay Emmanuel-Thomas scored a brace against the Shrimpers after coming off the bench and so could come back into the Gills attack.

Midfielder Scott Wagstaff continues to recover from a calf problem, left-back Bradley Garmston and defender Aaron Morris (both knee) also remain sidelined while new signing Lee Martin is a long-term absentee following his serious ankle injury suffered in pre-season.

Bury will be without George Miller, as the striker is suffering from ankle ligament damage.

Other than that, the visitors have no new injuries as they look to build on last weekend's opening day win over Charlton.

Experienced defender Leon Barnett, who signed a two-year deal this summer following his release by Wigan, is not expected to play any part.

Striker Tom Pope will hope to get amongst the goals having netted his first of the season in the EFL Cup defeat to Burton on Wednesday.
