Left-back Nutter played through the pain barrier for much of the season, while midfielder Miller had similar surgery last summer, only to suffer a recurrence of the problem midway through the campaign and has undergone double hernia surgery this time around. Meanwhile, fellow midfield man Curtis Weston is delighted that his first season at Priestfield after arriving from Leeds ended in success. "I came here to play games and to try and get promotion, which I have done," he said. "I'm overwhelmed and I'm really happy about it. "The lads are brilliant, when I came in they welcomed me straight away and we've all enjoyed this experience, so it's been really good."
