Bradley Dack fires Gillingham back to the top of League One

Bradley Dack's 14th goal of the season helped Gillingham come from behind to beat promotion rivals Peterborough 2-1 and return to the top of the Sky Bet League One table.

The visitors opened the scoring on 25 minutes, as Erhun Oztumer fired home from close range after a well-worked United free-kick that also involved Jon Taylor and debutant Shaquile Coulthirst.

Starting his first game for the Gills since mid-October, Luke Norris levelled the game four minutes after the break, neatly slotting past Ben Alnwick after connecting with Dominic Samuel's cross.

Dack won the game for the hosts on 65 minutes, blazing into the top corner from 18 yards after Jack Baldwin had failed to clear.

Gills defender John Egan hit the bar in either half, the first time with a powerful effort on the turn, the second from six yards out.

Former Tottenham striker Coulthirst shot just wide on the turn on 34 minutes, having also tested Gills goalkeeper Stuart Nelson early on in the game.

Another United debutant, Adil Nabi, hit the bar five minutes after being introduced, as did Chris Forrester with a 25-yard effort late on.
