Football player dies during game

A man has died during a five-a-side football game at the Black Lion Leisure Centre in Gillingham. Medway Council said the man had fallen and hit his head at about 2130 BST on Tuesday during the match. First aid was administered and ambulance crews and paramedics spent an hour trying to resuscitate him, but he died at the scene.
