Eastbourne sign Gills midfielder

Blue Square Premier side Eastbourne Borough have signed midfielder Luke Rooney from League One Gillingham on loan for the rest of the season.The 19-year-old turned professional in summer 2009 and has recently signed a two-year deal to stay at Priestfield until 2012. Rooney, who scored on his first-team debut for the Gills in September, has made 13 appearances this season. Eastbourne are just two points above the relegation places. .... read more
