Double blow for Gills

Gillingham manager Andy Hessenthaler is without two key players for the visit of Chesterfield. Striker Dennis Oli and defender Tony Sinclair have both been ruled out of the game at Priestfield. Oli limped off in the Gills' midweek reserve game with a recurrence of a niggling hamstring injury and is unavailable, while scans have shown Sinclair has broken a seasmoid bone on his right foot and is likely to be occupying the sidelines for around four to six weeks. Hessenthaler also has a doubt over striker Adebayo Akinfenwa who has been struggling with a groin problem and as a result missed training on Thursday, but some good news for the Gills is that Joe Martin has been passed fit for the visit of John Sheridan's side.
