Defender makes Hammers return
The 19-year-old has been ruled out for six weeks with a knee injury suffered in the 1-1 draw at Exeter on December 28 and has returned to Upton Park for treatment.[LNB]Fry made 13 league and FA Cup appearances, and Gills manager Mark Stimson was upset to see him leave.[LNB]He told the Hammers' official website: "When we found out on New Year's Eve it was a massive blow.[LNB]"Matt has been a pleasure to work with and he's put in some fantastic performances, especially for someone who is so young and had never before played a league game."[LNB][LNB]
