Gillingham goalkeeper Lance Cronin is determined to make the most of his second chance at league football. The 24-year-old has been in non-league since leaving Shrewsbury in 2006 but has signed a one-year deal at Priestfield and intends to prove his worth. He said: "I'm delighted to earn a contract, that was the main thing first, and now secondly it's about proving myself and trying to get into the team. "It's been a long time out of the league and it's good to be back involved. "Now I just want a chance to prove myself and show what I can do."
