Cobblers boss rues Jackman exit

Jackman had a transfer request rejected by the Cobblers in the week before the start of the season and failed to play any part after picking up a knee injury.[LNB]However, he was fit to make his debut for the Gills just hours after a transfer was finally sanctioned to leave Gray disappointed.[LNB]He said: "First and foremost I'm very disappointed that we have lost a very good player.[LNB]"I am very disappointed in the manner in which it was conducted. Danny failed two fitness tests for us in recent weeks and then suddenly he was fit to play for Gillingham on Tuesday.[LNB]"I think he has been advised badly but that is gone now and people can draw their own conclusions. When we wanted him out there he wasn't fit but he was on Tuesday night so it's a huge disappointment.[LNB]"He was a good servant for the club and he was very popular with the supporters but this has left a bitter taste in the mouth."[LNB][LNB]
