Chorley stays with Gills

Gillingham have secured the services of on-loan defender Ben Chorley until the end of the season.

The Gills have agreed an extension of the original loan deal which saw Chorley arrived at the Priestfield on a two-month loan switch from MK Dons back in October.

The 24-year-old has made ten appearances for the Kent club and netted the winner in a 3-2 victory over Tranmere Rovers last month.

Chorley began his career at Arsenal before moving to MK Dons in 2003 on a free transfer.

The versatile defender captained the Dons before losing his first-term place earlier this season.
