Bruce can`t go yet - Boss

Trialist Bruce Inkango will get another opportunity to impress Gillingham manager Andy Hessenthaler after catching the eye in a reserve-team victory over Brentford on Wednesday. The winger, who is of Congolese descent but was born in France, has been training with the Gills for the last two weeks and played his first competitive game in a 3-0 win against the Bees' second string. And Hessenthaler will take another look at the 26-year-old when the reserves face Leyton Orient next week. He told the club's official website: "He will be staying for another week. We are allowed to play him in two games according to the Combination League rules, so he'll play for the reserves against Leyton Orient on Tuesday and we'll see where we go from there. "He is an interesting one and he did well yesterday (Wednesday). You could see what he has to offer, but Bruce is still not fully fit. He was quite exciting against Brentford and he caused a bit of a stir, so we will keep him for a week."
