Boo-boys make Miller mad
08 Dec 2008 - 13:15:17
Gillingham midfielder Adam Miller has rounded on the fans that have booed him this season.
The 26-year-old former Stevenage Borough player, who scored in Saturday's win against Chesterfield, has been criticised by many Gills supporters for what has been perceived as his lack-lustre performances.
However, Miller has hit back, saying after the 2-1 victory against the Spireites: "I'd like to think I'm turning them round but don't see why I should have to.
"Last year I came here and got on with them really well. They used to appreciate what I did.
"In my mind nothing has changed but they seem to have short memories. I played with a hernia for them last season, at a time when the club was in a bit of trouble.
"What they've done is poor and I'm not going to hold back on that. It's very poor when you get booed off and singled out. It's disgusting."
