Germany coach Joachim Loew has said he is interested in coaching the national team beyond the World Cup in Brazil with his contract due to expire in 2014.
"I have never said that I will stop in 2014, my energy and motivation levels are still high," the 52-year-old told German daily Bild on Saturday.
Having taken over as head coach in 2006, Loew guided the team to the Euro 2008 final and third at the 2010 World Cup, but has come in for criticism here after losing the Euro 2012 semi-final and drawing 4-4 with Sweden recently.
Loew said he would hold talks with the German Football Federation (DFB) "in due course" and said he had no thoughts of resigning, despite his team throwing away a four-goal lead against Sweden in a World Cup qualifier on October 16.
"I look at the positive moments in our game. And on the fact we have won 22 of our last 25 games in qualifiers with three draws," he explained.
But Loew admitted the last few weeks had been the toughest of his six-year tenure as coach.
"It was relatively quiet for the first five to six years. And the pressure has grown after our many victories, but that does not scare me," he said.
