Germany midfielder Julian Draxler has been ruled of his country's Euro 2016 qualifier against Poland in Warsaw on Saturday with flu, the German Football Federation (DFB) announced on Tuesday.

The world champions are already missing key players Bastian Schweinsteiger, Sami Khedira, Benedikt Hoewedes, Marco Reus and Mario Gomez for their second qualifier and will now be without their 21-year-old Schalke star too.

Germany opened their campaign with a 2-1 victory over Scotland on September 7 in a Group D that also includes the Republic of Ireland, Georgia and Gibraltar.

Coach Joachim Loew has yet to make a decision on bringing in a replacement for Draxler, who is also uncertain for next Tuesday's qualifier against Ireland in Gelsenkirchen.
