Die Mannschaft qualified with flying colours, winning all their games and not losing any games.

Germany impressed the world in the 2010 World Cup by playing attractive, attacking style of football. They were the team that scored the most goals in the tournament (16) that;s double of winners Spain. They also beat England 4-1, which was the highest ever loss for any team in the World Cup. They went on to play the Semi finals against Spain, which they lost 1-0, it was almost like a flashback from Euro 2008 final.

Germany are one of the most multicultural team, 11 of the 23 players have double nationality - or are able to play for other countries even though nearly all of them have been raised in Germany. The Germans are one of the most successful sides in international competitions; they've won the European Championship three times, and they were runners-up another three. In the World Cup they also won three times, and were runners-up four times, and finished third another four.

Miroslav Klose is the most capped player (114) in the current squad, at 33 years of age he is just 5 goals away from being Germany's all time top goalscorer - Gerd Muller is currently top goalscorer with 68 goals.

Group B is considered the 'death group' but with players like Ozil, Mario Gomez, Bastian Schweinsteiger and keeper Manuel Neuer, Germany definitely have the team to get far in the Euro 2012 tournament.
