Serie A Game suspended over player faint scare

Tuesday night's Serie A clash between Genoa and Inter Milan was suspended for four minutes in the first half after a player fainted.

Teenager Alberto Marchiori fainted on the bench and the referee stopped the match while he was attended to and revived before being taken away on a stretcher.

The Genoa youth team captain, 18, fainted nine minutes before the break but Italian news agency Ansa later said it was little more than a drop in tension that caused him to black out.
