Mixed signals over Milito

Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini aims to keep hold of star striker Diego Milito, but has conceded that every player has his price.

The 29-year-old Argentinian is reported to be a January target for Real Madrid.

Milito, who enjoyed two successful seasons in Spain with Real Zaragoza, is currently the leading marksman in Serie A with 12 goals.

"Milito is not for sale," said Gasperini. "It is not even possible to imagine a situation in which we could sell him, at least not in January.

"But remember the motto that everything has its price."
