Biography: Helen Skelton was raised in Kirkby Thore in Cumbria. She attended Cumbria Institute Of the Arts where she gained a BA(Hons) degree in Journalism. During her time at college she worked as an extra on Coronation Street and Cutting it. Helen was also a reporter and occasional presenter on children’s news program 'Newsround'. Helen then was revealed as a new Blue Peter presenter in 2008. In 2009 Helen became the 2nd women to finish the gruelling 78 mile Namibia Ultra Marathon. Reports have suggested that Helen is dating footballer David Graham.
