Gabon will host the 2017 African Nations Cup, the Confederation for African Football has announced.
The Central Africa nation had been vying with Ghana and Algeria for the right to host the tournament but attracted the highest number of votes from the CAF Executive Committee.
Gabon are no strangers to staging the event, having co-hosted the 2012 edition with Equatorial Guinea.
