Former Liverpool and Middlesbrough winger Boudewijn Zenden claims Fulham are interested in securing his services this summer. The ex-Holland international is available on a free transfer after his two-year contract with Marseille concluded at the end of last month. Zenden, who has won 54 caps for his country, is vastly experienced when it comes to Premier League football having played for Chelsea for three years prior to joining Boro. Interested parties The 32-year-old is not ruling out signing a new contract at Marseille, but claims four other European clubs are chasing his signature, including Roy Hodgson's Fulham. "I can still sign a new deal but also Fulham, Genoa, Olympiakos and Panathinaikos want to sign me," he told the De Telegraaf. "Genoa and Fulham will play in the Europa League and Panathinaikos, Olympiakos and Marseille will participate in the UEFA Champions League." Twente snubMeanwhile, Zenden has rejected talk he could return to Dutch football after being linked with a move to Steve McClaren's FC Twente. Zenden worked under McClaren while at Boro and although the pair have a good relationship he is not interested in returning home just yet. "We know each other well from our time at Middlesbrough," he continued. "I've always said I'll return home at some point, but not yet. "I have thanked McClaren for his enquiry but explained I wouldn't be joining."
